It's almost MAY! Can you believe that? Because then comes June, which equals summer B.R.E.A.K. Yes, Jesus! Still, there's so much to do until that time. We don't have end of year testing until the 29th and 30th, so we're still pushing on. I'm quickly linking up with Jess from I {heart} Recess for a May monthly. Be sure to check it out!
Personal: With so much to do all the time, I've tried to be more disciplined and intentional with everything I do. For example, when I take off a pair of earrings, I immediately put them on their holder. Or when I hear the buzzer go off for the dryer, I immediately fold them and put them away. If nothing else, that is success in itself!
Healthy: Today makes the 5th day I've completed my workout for Insanity, month dos. Sweet Jesus that junk is haaaard. This is technically my second time through the program, and have seen awesome results. I decided I was at a level where I should jump straight into the second month, so I began last Thursday. It does take an hour or so a night, which means as soon as I get home, I change clothes and start dying sweating. It's a great, stinky feeling when you're done!
School: When the time comes around for my kids to leave me for those blessed 40 minutes and go to resource, I'm simply ready to sit and eat my snack and breathe, not plan! I'm GOT to get better at being intentional with my planning time, too, though! I despise coming home and writing lesson plans!
Fun: I've noticed other people posting about pedicures. Tis the season! Too bad my husband has been gone for a MONTH and I haven't been able to go get one! He will return this weekend (yessss!) so I've seeing one in my future. Also, I haven't yet been able to justify paying a ridiculous amount of money on a purse, but maybe I can make it a present to myself if I stick with Insanity the next 25 days.
Thanks for linking up! Pedi and a coach purse sound super nice! More power to you an Insanity...that is too intense for me :)

Oh, that purse is so great! I get these Coach emails practically every day, so maybe you might see it on sale? Let me know if you want me to send you an invite to get the emails ;)

I can help you out with your follower goal! I've just added myself to your count. Let me know how insanity goes. I'm 8 months pregnant and will be needing an insane workout program in order to get my figure back after this baby arrives!

That's actually why I started doing Insanity! I had Lilly in September of 2012, ran my first 5K in December, and then began Insanity a few months later. Kicked my butt at first, but so worth it! If you can stick with it and "dig deeper" as the motto goes, you'll be fine! Definitely worth the money, and a program you can do at home while the kids nap. I just couldn't justify leaving my baby all day, then again for the gym. I love Insanity!
DeleteYour personal goal sounds great! So many times I put off doing something for something that is not as important and then things begin to pile up. It would be awesome to complete tasks immediately instead of waiting. I am glad I found your blog through the linky. I am a 4th grade teacher, too. I can be a little help with your follower count increasing. I am now number 45!

Nice goals! I have been going back and forth on buying insanity. Maybe I will just bite the bullet and go for it!
